"Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn't fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, a plane ride away." ~Carrie: Sex and the City

Hey girlies I thought I would drop a quick note and say hello. I hope all is going well for everyone. Just think we are half way through the first one and it can only go faster from now on. I hope that everyone is having a good experience on their clincal. Leah I hope that you got things worked out and I am thinking of you. Katie I am sure that you are getting just as busy with wedding planning as I am. Well don't have much else to say other than to let everyone know for planning purposes that Matt & I's party is July 22 and you are all invited and of course you can spend the night I am sure it will be a fun drunk fest this year. Well I will talk to you all soon. I miss you and love you all. Byes,

Hey girls! :)

Hey girlies! Hope everyone is doing well. Leah, I really hope things are getting better for you!! That is so aweful, and what terrible timing! Keep us updated on how its going. Things are going good for me. I've been keeping very busy. Nate and I have been Apartment hunting and we are going to see one today, so hopefully that will go well. He also has an interview today so keep him in your thoughts! I really hope it goes good. Last weekend I went to the Melting Pot in Chestnut Hill with some of my girlfriends for a bridal shower for one of them. That was a lot of fun, I had never been there before. It got to be really expensive but it was a fun time. Oh and we also got a flat tire on the turnpike on the way there, so that kind of made the whole day a little bit more crazy! Nothing like pulling over into a shoulder that barely fits the car with huge trucks flying by. I thought we were all going to die a few times! But we made it. :) My affil is good. I have a full schedule now so I have been keeping busy. I was kind of bored for the first 3 weeks because I hadn't built up my patient load yet. I've been seeing a lot of rotator cuff repairs, back patients, a couple ankles and knees. I've been learning a lot and my CI is really nice. She has been setting aside time for us to talk about stuff and practice stuff which I have never had a CI do that before and its been really nice! I've only had a to deal with about 2 fakers too, I was kind of worried it would be all work comp people! I can't believe this one is half over already! Its going so fast. So thats about it for me! Hope to hear from all of you soon!! Love you all!!
love, Katie xoxo

hi from Sayre

Hey girls!! Time to get this blog back in motion! I hope everyone had a great memorial day weekend and enjoyed some sun! I know I was finally glad the rain stoppede. . . it had been raining since the day I got here until Saturday!
I have really been enjoying my clinical so far. I have learned so so much that we didn't even touch on in peds class, so I am excited. Unfortunately, things may have taken a turn for the worst today. My CI was fired this morning, and so was the head OT in the clinic. . . something about a conflict of interest. I am not entirely sure of the whole story, but it is something pretty messy and I think it is best for me to even delve into it. Now, I am left in a crappy situation and they are trying to find soomeone else to be my CI. A girl from the Towanda clinic is going to fill in for my CI, but she has o nly been working for a little over a year and doesn't know if she is ready to take on a student. Basically, if she doesn't become my CI, I am screwed. I taked to my CCCE and she even mentioned the possibility of my clinical being cancelled! I almost flipped out! This is terrible. . . good thing I am four hours away from home, on top of it all. Call me if you are bored or get free time. . . I could use some cheering up!!!
I hope your clinicals are all going wonderfully and are full of less drama than mine. I miss my girlies lots!!

Hey I guess I will be the first one to post something, although I do not know if anyone is reading or checking this thing, but I guess we will find out. I hope that everyone has had a good first two days of their clinical. Mine is pretty good there are two other students there right now so it is kinda cool. There is a second year there from Jeff which I had no clue someone else was going there and there is a first year student there from Drexel so we all have something in common. My CI is nice but a little weird and they make you go through all this hospital orientation crap so I have yet to touch or see a patient and I am hoping tomorrow bc this meeting and manual crap is working on my nerves.

Things are good on the homestead, it is nice to have a home although not everything is totally put away it is getting there and it is nice to be home with Matt with the exception that now I have to cook, clean and do laundry. Anyway I hope all is going well with you.

Leah how are you doing? I hope everything is going well for you far away from home.

Katie, I am hoping you got the mass email I sent out about the job opportunities! I gave her your and Kristin's name specifically bc I knew you both wanted to settle in that area so she maybe contacting you(I hope you do not mind).

Well just wante to say hello and that I miss you all. I am hoping to see some of you on Sunday at Jodi's. Jodi I will need directions I will call you later this week.

Can't wait to see you all.

Love Always,

Hello out there???

Hey, is anyone checking this anymore???

Well, I just wanted to say a Big Congrats to Jodi and Seth! I'm so psyched for them. 4/6 chicas in the group, taken off the market! Hang in with me Leah, we are 2, but we are mighty! lol. 2006 is going to be a busy year for all you love birds out there....Congrats! I think it's great! Can't wait to Party Down!!!

I had such a great time in Chicago/Indiana with Marge. Thanks for all the well wishes girls. I know that Marge really appreciates it, and I do very much as well! It was a tough weekend, but it was easier knowing that I had all my ladies backing me up and sending me love! So thanks a million! And, besides getting to be with Marge, Tom and I had a really awesome weekend and we were able to talk and really get to the bottom of some things, so that was totally cool, and I've been so happy all weekend and flowing into this week! Yippy!

Also, I just wanted to let everyone know that Tom's new band, The Smyths, are playing the New Grape Street Pub in Manayunk on Dec. 30th! It's a friday night (new year's eve eve) and I thought it'd be cool to all go out that night b/c we'll probably be separated for new year's eve. We could start a tradition! Let me know what everyone thinks. I'll have to mention it in person too since it doesn't seem that anyone checks this...myself included! So much love to all! Talk to you all soon!

Love, Kristin xoxoxoxoxo

i suck at keeping up with this...

apparantly we all do , but i know i am particularly bad at writing in this. i don't really have anything profound to say, ijust thought i'd write something in it. i am getting very excited for the marathon. it's going to be sooo awesome to be in disney with kristin and seth and my family, i can't wait!!! i am super annoyed at my research group. our lit review thing is due to Dr. Besser tomorrow, and once again, neither of them showed up for our group meeting today. i'm sooo sick of this. anyways, that's about all for now. it's crazy how fast this semester is going by. in a few weeks it will be thanksgiving, and then a few weeks after that will be christmas, and then right after that is the marathon! YAY!!!!!!!!!! i will see u girlies later.

love ya!!
